EMPIRE CONSULTING, INC. WALKS AWAY WITH SILVER AT INTERNATIONAL MEETING

November 9th 2006-- Empire Consulting, Inc. of St. Charles, an authorized licensee of the Sandler Sales Institute received the Silver Award for Growth at the Sandler Sales Institute’s (SSI) Fall meeting in Baltimore, Maryland. Empire Consulting President, Scott Metcalfe accepted the award from Bruce Seidman, son of deceased founder of the Sandler Sales Institute, David Sandler. Empire Consulting was one of just two licensees in the Midwest Region to receive this honor.

For the past three years Empire Consulting has blended strategic marketing expertise with the Sandler Selling Systemsm to provide their clients more revenue, more quickly and more profitably. TWO LOCAL ENTREPRENEURS BRING HOME AWARDS

Charles Han, President of LACE Technologies, Inc. and Scott Metcalfe, President of Empire Consulting, Inc. both of St. Charles received Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards at a packed ceremony in Oakbrook Terrace. LACE technologies offers lead-free electronics manufacturing for prototype to medium volume assemblies and testing, training, and support for companies converting to lead-free soldering operations. “Our success has been a combination of having the right technology, the right people and the drive to succeed says Charles who won honors in the “Young Entrepreneur” category.

SCOTT METCALFE NAMED TO ADVISORY BOARD OF SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER (SBDC) AT ELGIN COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Scott Metcalfe, President of Empire Consulting, Inc. of St. Charles has accepted a position on the advisory board for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Elgin Community College. Kriss Knowles, Director of the SBDC states “Scott has supported our mission of assisting both start-up and established businesses with free one on one counseling, low cost training programs and by donating his time to be a speaker to our classes on the subject of selling.”
This is the second entrepreneurial honor Scott has recently received. On September 27th Scott accepted the “Outstanding Service to Entrepreneurs” award at a ceremony sponsored by Ledger Publishing.

At the Annual Charlemegne Awards banquet, January 27, 2006 Scott Metcalfe, and his fellow members of the Small Business Committee received the honor of being named recipients of the Chairman's Award. This honor was a direct result of the committee's positive impact on the Chamber and its member constituents. Also in January, Scott was named Vice Chairman of the Small Business Committee in recognition of his contribution of energy and expertise.
