Scott Alan Metcalfe, BS ChE, MBA
Scott Metcalfe, President and CEO of Empire Consulting earned a BS in Chemical Engineering with honors from Ohio University and an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
Scott began his professional selling career in 1988. Since that time his career has taken him from salesmen, to Vice President of Sales and Marketing, to entrepreneur and business owner. Along the way Scott has received numerous selling and marketing awards, been published in several international magazines and conducted business in the United States, Canada and Europe.
With a passion for selling, leadership and human development, Scott has focused his efforts on helping businesses and individuals in the greater Fox River Valley achieve their goals since the Spring of 2000.
Kathleen A. Metcalfe, BS ME
Kathy has woven extraordinary achievement into the very fabric of her life. A high school valedictorian, Kathy put her academic scholarships to full use graduating number one in her class, earning her BS in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University nearly a full year ahead of schedule.
Heavily recruited, Kathy, finally chose to join DuPont where she worked in R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing and Product Support. In 1996 she became one of the youngest women ever to lead a manufacturing unit for DuPont where she was responsible for managing and leading a 40-member team of professionals and trades people. It was when Kathy transitioned out of manufacturing and took the responsibility for growing one of DuPont’s many engineered polymers that she was first introduced to the art of selling. Many years later Kathy’s passion for excellence and leadership has not waned one bit and we are delighted to be able to draw upon her “big company” experience.
Kathy assumed the role of Vice President and Treasurer of Empire Consulting in 2004.
